The You Version Bible App, I Believe, Is One Of The Greatest Apps Ever Created. Here's Why!

While visiting family in Michigan, back in November of 2011, I was introduced to the You Version bible for Android. My dad had been using You Version on his iPhone. After watching him use it and after seeing the features it offered I decided to download You Version and start using it in replacement of another bible application I had downloaded.

If you go the Android Market, via your phone, you may not find this under the name YouVersion.   We’ve noticed that now it comes up under lifechurch.tv bible.  You Version and LifeChurch.TV Bible are the same.  Life Church TV is the developer of the application but it appears that it’s being searched under a couple of different names.  You might also check bible for Android as well.

I can only hope that, someday, Kindle and Nook are as cool and fully featured as You Version. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of Kindle, but what You Version offers in terms of tools, notes, study resources and ease of use it is hard to beat. I use it more than I do my regular bible now. You Version gives you access to pretty much everything you could ever want as a student of God’s Word.

From highlighting scripture references, to notes, to just about any translation of the Bible you would like to access, You Version has it and more.  What I really like about You Version is the ability to store notes and research right on your phone.  This eliminates the need for paper and pen.  I guess you could say that You Version is very green, in that regard.  Save a tree and read The Bible on your phone or tablet.

You Version offers study plans through subscription as well as interaction with other users. Study categories include Devotional, Topical, Youth and more. Plans range from the One Year Bible to to the Life Application Study Bible.

You Version is an application that can easily condense, manage and reshape the way you study The Bible.  Because it is so easily accessible it provides you with a greater opportunity to open and study the Word of God while waiting in line at the grocery store or anywhere else where you find yourself waiting.  With You Version, the Bible goes with you everywhere. So far as we know, this amazing Bible based application is available for just about every tablet or smartphone available on the market today.

From a spiritual and ministry perspective, having access to a Bible, at all times is very important.  Not only can referencing the Word of God assist you through trials and challenges during the day, it can also assist you in the event an opportunity to share comes about.  As you draw closer to being One in God through Christ, more opportunities will arise.  You Version will assist you in being prepared at any moment, day or night.
