Madden 2012 NOT living up to the standard?

I need to level with you about something before I write this post on Madden 2012. I’ve never played it. In fact, as a general rule I’m not really even much into video games. My obsession with Angry Birds, over Christmas, was short lived although I did enjoy slinging those angry little pheasants at the evil, egg thieving swine. Nonetheless, I am compelled to write a post about Madden 2012 simply because the search numbers for this are OFF THE HOOK! People like to search Google for games and Madden 2012 is not exception.

I was intrigued, as a die hard fan of the NFL, to find that people who play Madden 2012 have registered a few complaints as to certain functions and features of this game. One of the complaints regarding Madden 2012 is outlined in the video included in this post.

Originally, I was looking for applications to blog about this evening when I found Madden 2012 as one of the top five paid applications through the Android Market. When I Googled Madden 2012 to see what people were saying I was a bit surprised to hear that people had anything less than positive to say. I have several friends you have played Madden NFL for years and all of them RAVE about it.

Outside of the complaints we also found some other interesting stuff regarding the Madden 2012 app. It turns out that this weekend, Madden 2012 on Android is FREE this Weekend from Verizon, or wait… is it? That was a post from October of 2011. Talk about having something to complain about? It’s interesting to see that something like that is still on the front page of Google. That’s kind of like taking the pizza out of the ice box only to find that it’s freezer burnt. Come on, you know what I’m talking about?

There are also a long list of players who were slighted in Madden 2012 to include John Beason? Are you kidding me? Why? Oh wait… who’s John Beason? !! Take a look at the slideshow we found here.

… and people ask me why I don’t play Madden 2012? Who can keep up? There’s nearly as much drama here as there is on General Hospital.  I am getting a headache just trying to create this post.
